Adoption
Adoption is the key to saving animals and we want you to help us.
We have approximately 2200 animals a year come to our shelter. We
return many of them to their owners, many we find new homes for and
many we are unable to save. You are important to this process. If
you are interested in adopting an animal, please visit the links
below to see what animals we currently have available for adoption.

To adopt an animal you will need to fill out an pre-adoption application.
If approved you will need to formally apply for a specific animal
and pay the necessary adoption fees. The adoption fees will include
the cost of spay or neuter (if necessary), a certificate for rabies
vaccination, license (for dogs), and a vet checkup. All animals (that
are old enough) are now being altered BEFORE going home with the
new adoptive parents. This will sometimes cause a 24-48 hour hold
before the animal is placed in your new home. These animals will
receive their free vet visit at the time of surgery.
