Verde Valley Humane Society 2009 Calendar Calling all animal lovers! Let your pet have 24 hours of fame by giving it a day to itself in our calendar. Since each day has a space for a pet photo, we need 365 pictures to fill the 2009 calendar. Put in as many photos as you like. Dates are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so get your photo(s) in early to reserve your dates. For a donation of $20 you will be able to place one photo in the calendar. (A tax receipt will be issued for the donation.) Calendars are $10 each. Surprise a friend or family member with the gift of a calendar with a photo of their pet located on their special day. Sorry no humans, due to limited printing areas. The calendar project is run by the Verde Valley Humane Society with all profits being split 50/50 between our "$10.00 Crusade" for our much needed new facility and our "Animal Angel Fund" that helps care for the injured, lost and homeless animals living at V.V.H.S. To enter your pet's photo in the calendar:
Submit your photos in the form of glossy prints. You can mail them to V.V.H.S. at the above address or drop them off (in an envelope clearly marked with your info) at the shelter located at 1502 W. Mingus. If you don't have a current picture, we will be offering photo sessions at $5.00 each. The photo session fees will be paid the day of the pictures. Photo session dates are Saturday July 19 between 1pm and 4pm, and Saturday August 9 from 9am to Noon. You must call to set up your appointment so that we don't keep people and animals waiting in the heat. Send in this order along with your payment and requested dates today.
